Meet The Founder, Teresa Edge

I’m Teresa Edge, and I’m the founder of Faith Works In Motion—an organization born from both personal experience and professional purpose.

For many years, I worked in healthcare and community service, supporting seniors, veterans, individuals with developmental disabilities, and the caregivers who walk alongside them every day. Through this work, I noticed a painful gap: families giving so much of themselves were often overwhelmed, isolated, and without support.

Families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder especially touched my heart. I’ve witnessed the fear, burnout, and exhaustion of parents who feel alone navigating a complicated system. I started Faith Works In Motion to stand in that gap—to offer guidance, hope, and practical support so that no one has to walk this path alone.

This is more than a nonprofit to me—it’s a calling. We believe faith doesn’t sit still. It moves, serves, and uplifts. And we’re here to do exactly that.
